Privacy Policy
A single-player puzzle game designed with privacy in mind — no accounts, no logins, no personal data collected by us.
Introduction
01One Line Draw Game is a standalone, single-player puzzle game for iOS. We respect your privacy and have designed the app to minimize the amount of personal information involved in gameplay.
The app does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address or password. All gameplay progress is stored locally on your device and is not synced via iCloud or any custom backend server we operate.
However, the app integrates a small number of third-party services — Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics — that may collect limited technical data over the internet, as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
02The app uses iOS UserDefaults (local storage) on your device to save the following. This data never leaves your device through us:
- Game progress — which levels you have solved, star ratings (1–3), and streak data.
- In-game economy — virtual coin balance used for hints.
- Settings — music, sound effects, and haptics preferences.
- Timestamps — last played level and daily puzzle, used to calculate streaks and schedule local notifications.
When the app is online, the third-party services listed in Section 03 may automatically collect information such as IP address, device identifiers, device model, OS version, approximate location (inferred from IP), in-app event data, and — if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission — the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers).
Third-Party Services
03We use the following third-party SDKs. Each provider acts as an independent data controller for the data they collect and is governed by their own privacy policy.
Used to display advertisements (banner, interstitial, rewarded video, and app open ads) that support the free version of the app. AdMob may collect your IP address, device identifiers, and coarse location (inferred from IP) to serve ads. If you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, AdMob may also access your IDFA to serve personalized ads. If you do not grant permission, ads will be non-personalized.
Used to understand how players use the app so we can improve gameplay and stability. Firebase Analytics automatically collects metrics such as session duration, device model, OS version, and geography. The app also logs custom events including level_complete (with level ID and stars earned), daily puzzle completions, and onboarding milestones. The FirebaseAnalyticsIdentitySupport module may read the IDFA for ad attribution if App Tracking Transparency permission is granted.
Used to monitor app stability and diagnose bugs. Crashlytics collects crash traces, the state of the device at the time of a crash, and non-fatal error logs. It does not collect personal content from gameplay.
Device Permissions
04Children's Privacy
05One Line Draw Game is suitable for a general audience and may also be played by children. We take additional steps where children are involved:
- Google AdMob requests are configured for Child-Directed Treatment (TFCD) and Restricted Data Processing (RDP) where applicable, so personalized advertising and IDFA collection are disabled for users identified as children.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the limited technical data described in this policy.
- We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation as it applies to children (GDPR-K).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information you would like removed, please contact us at the email below.
Your Choices & Rights
06You have full control over how your data is handled:
- App Tracking Transparency — revoke tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Advertising Identifier — reset your IDFA in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Notifications — turn off notifications in Settings → Notifications → One Line Draw Game.
- Local data — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored progress, settings, and coin balance from your device.
Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information processed about you. Contact us to make a request.
Data Retention
07Locally stored data persists on your device until you delete the app or clear its data via iOS Settings. Data collected by third-party SDKs is retained according to the respective provider's own retention policies.
We do not maintain any server-side database of your personal data, so there is no data held by us to request deletion of.
International Users
08Because we use Google services (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics), information collected by those SDKs may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates data centers.
By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own. Google's data transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Changes to This Policy
09We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated within the app where appropriate.
Continued use of the app after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the app and uninstall it — all locally stored data will be removed from your device upon uninstallation.
